I get increasingly upset with each instance of this I see. While I haven't
dealt with Target Publications, this is exactly what happened in my
department with a company called DataTech. I simply told them that if they
cannot provide us with a purchase order number or a recorded telephone
conversation authorizing shipment, then we will not pay for what they sent
to us. They haven't bothered us for a while.

Best of luck to you!

Hello!

Has anyone dealt with Target Publications? Supposedly we asked for a
"free listing" in their American Business Directory and paid for the
first installment last year. This sounds suspiciously like the scams
set up by Mayrand, Informatika, & International Publication Services,
though the rather aggressive gentleman(?) I spoke with yesterday
vehemently denied such allegations. I've already checked the BBB
website and didn't find anything. Any information you can provide on
them would be greatly appreciated -- thanks!
