they are doing something wrong, I want to know."  ]

Here is Joan's reply to the CPA:

Someone named “Wendy” called me from Mayrand in Champlain, NY and said
that we
had ordered the “American Business Guide” and that they would like to
send us the next edition that we ordered with our name in it.

I knew immediately that we never ordered this publication because I
order
everything that goes through here.  I asked her where they were located
and
the phone number and she very reluctantly gave them to me.

When I asked her for a purchase order number she, of course, did not
have
one.  I told her that we DID NOT order this and did not want it and to
take
Barry off of her calling list.

I told her NEVER to call Barry University again.  If I ever get another
call from them I will file a complaint with the Florida Attorney
Generals Office, Department of Consumer Affairs.  I have done this with
several other companies and believe it or not they KEEP CALLING WITH
THIS SCAM.  I will keep reporting them until it stops.

They do offer a book but we did not order it, do not want it and will
not accept it
if it comes here.

Please ask that they not contact ANYONE at Barry Again.

I thank you for your concern, but this is a SCAM and they are not the
only ones
doing it.

We have had this scam tried on us several times.  They try to intimidate
you (ask for supervisor, ask for lawyer, etc). I have learned that they
never can get me a written confirmation or taping of a verbal
confirmation when it is requested.
