Subject: RE: Access to Spanish Books In Print - "Libros en Venta"

I suggest searching the FREE bibliographic databases of Spanish vendors,

such as:
Puvill Libros - http://www.puvill.com/
Servilibros - www.servilibros.net

Regards,
Cecilia

Subject: Spanish language BIP (Libros en Venta)

Colleen Mitchell forwarded your message to me regarding Libros en Venta
and
the high cost of using their CD Rom.

I search foreign language books and have come to rely more and more on
the
Internet.

I like to use Google as a search engine. Sometimes I can type a title
in
and receive exactly what I'm looking for. Otherwise, I search whatever
I find on
the list that Google gives me. Google is able to translate information
also, at least
in most cases. I search mostly Spanish and French language books this
way.

Here are some of the databases I have bookmarked. I would be happy to
forward them to you.

Agencia Espanola del ISBN: titulos
Alianza
Anagrama
Libros
Puvill
Spain resources for titles
Spanish foreign publishers NetStore (Espasa Calpe, etc)
Spanish/Mexican Museum Pub.

I search Google every way I can think of. I search publisher, or title,
or
author and when I find something usable, I bookmark it. I seldom use
Libros en
Venta anymore. The information on the Internet is usually more current
than LEV.

I hope this helps.
