I am not a member of the ACQNET List but was wondering if any other
librarians have come up with a solution to this problem. We frequently
buy
videos in sets, when one tape of the set is broken, we usually have to
re-purchase the entire set just to replace the one broken tape. Do other
libraries just re-purchase the set? Do they just discard the new tapes
that aren't needed? Replace the whole set? Keep the not needed tapes
somewhere? Thanks in advance for your help.
