Subject: USMLE PREPARATION MATERIALS
I have searched the medlib archives for materials that are recommended for
USMLE. I am currently preparing a big order of materials for USMLE
preparation. I have Southland Tutorials, Underground Clinical Vignettes,
Lippincott's Illustrated Reviews, Recall series, Body Systems Review, usmle
concepts series, some NMS stuff, Ace the Boards stuff, Boards to Wards stuff,
First Aid for the USMLE, and some audio tapes from gold standard. My
questions are these: What other materials would others suggest? How can I
be sure I get all the books in a particular series?, How can I keep these
review materials up to date?, and finally can anyone suggest good
electronic, audio or visual materials that would be useful or anything else
that would be good. I have used recommendations from students, Amazon
reviews, OCLC, and some reviews found in some journals.
Thanks so much and I will summarize for the list if anyone is interested.
