Subject: Status of Kamkin

I would like to know what other libraries are planning to do in terms
of renewing subscriptions with Victor Kamkin Bookstore, Inc. Apparently
there is some dispute about the financial stability of the company.
As we know, nothing will kill a vendor faster than starting (and passing
along) rumors that their demise is immiment.

I have seen the complaint letter from "Inform-Systema" and the Kamkin
response. Any additional information or hard data regarding their
performance would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance -

Nancy

Have any of you heard of any problems with Victor Kamkin, Inc? We've
had another vendor contact us, offering to take over the titles with
Kamkin because Kamkin has developed a financial problem, and we hadn't
heard anything. Thanks for your input.
