Mr. Burmam-
If you've not tried them, I have had good success with 21 North
Main, Inc. (www.21northmain.com) -
This site is well-suited to libraries who use purchase orders, and
their customer service is outstanding -

Subject: Reprint or Facsimile Edition of Don Quijote
I am working with a Spanish professor on preparing information literacy
components for his junior-senior level course on Cervantes' Don Quijote de
la Mancha. He expressed the hope that the library might be able to acquire
a reprint or facsimile edition of Don Quijote, originally printed somewhere
between 1605 and 1630. He feels it would be a good primary source for his
class. I have searched a number of out-of-print Web sites, BIP, Barnes &
Noble, Amazon, etc. and have not found an available reprint from the 17th
century. In searching WorldCat I see that the Real Academia Espanola
produced a facsimile in 1976 (OCLC #4571071). Do any subscribers to this
list know where I might be able to order such an edition? I would be very
happy to purchase a copy of the 1976 facsimile of the first edition if
anyone has copies for sale. Please reply directly to my email address.
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.
