Subject: FW: AcqWeb Directory of Collection Development Policies on the
Web

AcqWeb now includes a directory of selected collection development
policies on the web.
http://acqweb.library.vanderbilt.edu/acqweb/cd_policy.html

Included are public libraries, community college libraries, college
libraries, university libraries, academic special collections,
government libraries, and school libraries. Geographic scope is the US,
Canada, the
UK, New Zealand, and Australia. Some of the policies are brief, some
detailed, some graphically sophisticated, some relatively austere.

Not included are policies that deal exclusively with electronic
resources and law libraries, since those areas are covered so well by
Perry Willett at
http://www.indiana.edu/~libsalc/policies/e-policies.html and Rob
Richards at http://www.colorado.edu/Law/lawlib/ts/aall/policies.htm.

If you would like your library's collection development policy to be
included, please send me the link.
