I have ordered a few out-of-print videos from Critics' Choice.  The company's

phone and shipped with an invoice.

Long ago I was a subscriber on a list called MediaLib.  I don't have 
current subscribing info, but I remember this was a common topic. At 
that time there was one somewhat eccentric company in New York which 
could sometimes supply an out-of-print video for a price. The name was 
Video Oyster, maybe. Other than that, there was not much hope. Often 
videos which are out of print have been withdrawn by the producers and 
cannot legally be copied or sold.

Than again, maybe the whole ball game has changed in the past couple 
of years...
