LIBRARY ACQUISITIONS MANAGER
The College of New Jersey seeks an individual to manage the operations
of Library acquisitions, business services, and accounting. The
position is a 12-month, non-tenure track, professional position
reporting to the Assistant Director. Responsibilities: supervise three
full-time and one part-time staff; communicate with vendors and the
Business Services Department to solve problems with library materials
procurement; work collaboratively with colleagues, faculty and staff;
oversee and process payments on all Library non-personnel budget lines,
which total over $1.3 million. Required: Baccalaureate from an
accredited institution, preferably in a business-related area; three
years business management experience for a library, bibliographic
utility, trade book vendor, or publisher; successful supervisory
experience. Graduate degree in librarianship or in a business-related
area; experience with OCLC; knowledge of Voyager and EDI (Electronic
Data Interchange), preferred. Salary range: $35,690 – $53,550. A
