[ED. NOTE: ACQNET encourages people to post system-specific messages
to the User Group/Company list for that particular system. However, as
those of you who use III may know, the IUG list is dominated by
systems and circulation chat. Since III's new Millenium module for
Acquisitions is still untested and early in its release, it is
possible that many acquisitions folk do not even belong to the IUG
list. Therefore, if you use III, consider joining it and using it for
questions like the one below. To do this, go to: http://innopacusers.org/
This is not an endorsement, only a suggestion to those who need
system-specific assistant. Thanks]

Subject: III Millennium Acquisitions

[Cross-posted to the IUG list]

Is anybody using the Innovative Interfaces Millennium Acquisitions module?
Since we started working with it in early August, we have noticed some
negative encumbrances in three accounts when we look at the financial
status. When an invoice is posted, the amount encumbered should be
unencumbered and the encumbered balance should never go below $0.00. Has
anybody else encountered this problem and possibly identified the cause?
I'm not sure, at this point, if there are other miscalculations that aren't
as noticeable or as easily identifiable as negative encumbrances.
