* On August 3, 2000, LEXIS announced that it had acquired Mealey
Publications, Inc. Please see the announcement at:

* The Thomson Corporation announced on July 13, 2000, that it would
acquire Carson Group, a Canadian financial information services company.
Thomson will place Carson in the Corporate Group of its Thomson Financial

* On July 7, 2000, Reed Elsevier PLC named Andrew Prozes, former executive
