Greetings, As some of you know, the Research Data Alliance's Metadata Standards Directory Working Group is working on developing a robust and usable directory of metadata standards used in the scientific data contexts. We are beginning our work by asking for contributions from the community. Contributions are simply submitted through a web form and will be incorporated into the information that the Digital Curation Centre has complied in an effort to document metadata standards. The Working Group is looking for information about metadata standards; the tools and use cases associated with them, and additional information that shows where and how scientists use them worldwide. By participating, you will be contributing information that can enhance the Digital Curation Centre's metadata directory (http://www.dcc.ac.uk/resources/metadata-standards). A long term goal is to contribute to a community sustainable directory of metadata standards.
