then try interlibrary loan requests or regular us mail i request items often from UK collections as do many other people been doing for centuries ! You have to make some effort too as a user. Not everything is going to be scanned in this lifetime at least.

Impossible for me to walk to your library, there is the Atlantic in the way.
Should a user walk to ALL libraries till the object is found? hell no,
just google and the good ones will show up.

It is sad that librarians expect users to find their reading room with
little/no effort on publicity to potential users.
Without a proper detailed catalogue I have found as a user of
librarians and archivists that they cannot know the full content of
their collection.
