Yes your trove is better than some but why is the relevance so poor
for some of the returned items

I just tested with

http://trove.nla.gov.au/book/result?q=Proceedings+of+the+1973+microwave+power+symposium

I seen no relevance of
"Report on investigation of 1990 Gulf of Mexico bottlenose dolphin strandings"
to the search at all

By the way the second item in the results has the event title not the
book title as its title, I presume it would then move to the top, its
rightful place for that search.

But for wild guessing by the search engine excess help is worse I think.

https://catalyst.library.jhu.edu/catalog?q=Proceedings+of+the+1973+microwave+power+symposium&search_field=all_fields&commit=search&commit=search

927 results, is the poor user supposed to go and check the stacks for
that lot, a long walk!

I also test with the term quoted and use just the default setting as a
normal user would.
