Quite a few things might be done now, with very little effort.
Is there any way to address an LC authority record directly? Seems
to be possible for LCSH only. Linking into catalog.loc.gov directly
should also be easy but is impossible since it is session-based.
The Open WorldCat and Identities (aka VIAF) can be linked into.
I'd like to enhance my LC Authority database browser with such links:
http://www.allegro-c.de/db/lcsh/detail.htm
Subject headings in it are almost current, not persons. Bin Laden is still
alive. But so he is in WorldCat Identities, only LC has him done in.
