I'm unconvinced that those of us in libraries have the right, or even
the privilege, of choosing what's "the best." Ours is simply to supply
the materials that library users want. Period. In the case of a
cataloger, we cannot decide what materials are politically incorrect,
for example. Ours is simply to catalog and let the library user choose
to read or not to read.
