Re: next "next-generation library catalog"

These sound very interesting.  The only problem I see with circ-based or
view-based recommendation engines is that make my "recommendation" of
something that I checked out and found excellent equivalent to something I
checked out and found to be poor.  But then, I suppose word-of-mouth would
moderate the number of users choosing the "horrible" items.  But we probably
couldn't get scholars to partcipate in an active service such as a ratings
system, or could we?
