Isn't anyone interested in the single search systems now being offered by a number of commercial entities? These promise to solve the dread silos problems for patrons of libraries that can afford them. The implications for catalog records to be provided in a mixed context with articles from many subscription databases should be considered. Does anyone have an objective and systematic comparison of these options that they would be willing to share?
Thanks,
Jimmie
