It is interesting, and could be constructive, to note those sorts of
library community problems that are reflective of futile problem-solving
approaches ingrained into our society's social structure. What paradigms
that effect problem solving in the library community (e.g database design
and access thereto) are quite common defects at large? When we say
"Let's" do this or that, are we willing to take responsibility for
broadening the definition of "Us" beyond the profit motive and recovering
a public initiative?
Cheers!
