action, both in terms of "better" and in terms of "reliable". They'll
get better, and you'll get funding and to prove your worth forever.

And I respond (but chuckling ruefully): they'll have to fight it out with
OCLC for world domination, and I'm not sure that any of us would be thrilled
with the result of the near-monopoly that might result, whichever came out
on top. (any more than most of us are thrilled as more and more ILS's and
related operations go down the tubes, leaving the companies with a stronger
grip on saying "this can be done; this can't (for which, read "won't) etc.)
