One of the reasons for this yearly subscription to Worldcat is that is the
only way to have your holdings visible on worldcat.org. OCLC is currently
promoting this service in a variety of ways, and it took me three weeks to
get a price quote, delivered today, which is out of the reach of the small
library where I currently work. When I asked for a quote, I also asked if
there were any consortia with a better price that we could piggyback on, but
that issue was not addressed.
