Just because the .xml version does not show you the EAD does not mean
it's not being indexed. I believe they are indexing both MARC and EAD
associated with a single 'record'; the .xml view in BL is only showing
you the MARC, but the EAD is being indexed as well. But you'd have to
talk to them for details, perhaps I'm wrong, but looking at that ".xml"
is not sufficient reverse engineering, that's not showing you a
representation of what's been indexed for that record, it's just showing
you a MARC xml representation that may not represent everything that's
been indexed.
