That's about the time MARC subject authority records were first created from the entries in the printed volumes of _Library of Congress Subject Headings_ and loaded en bloc to LC's online system. All the records with this "created" date and time should have prefixes of "sh85"

Subject: [NGC4LIB] LCSH rdf question

Hi all,

Just a quick one - the rdf file I've just downloaded from id.loc.gov
includes this line in many of the records (or whatever you call them):

<dcterms:created
rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#dateTime">1986-02-11T00:0
0:00-04:00</dcterms:created>

This line is in 84000 out of about 243000 records. Is this some sort of
epochal beginning? Just curious as to what might have been going on back
in '86.

Thanks,
