Jimmy is referring to the following

http://gslis.simmons.edu/podcasts/index.php?id=47

If you check out the slides Jen Ward from UofWash states that within 6 months of OCLC WorldCat local launch, intra-network loans increased 65% and ILL loans increase 70%. This seems possible when you figure the results page integrates matches from the local, the network, ILL, and the OCLC world and the user can order any of them directly from the catalogue as opposed to using a separate ILL order system. Principle of least effort, ease of use wins. As most may know McGill has chosen to go with Worldcat Local and become their first bilingual implementation.

The folks at Oklahoma State U Libraries also show some interesting stats as well.

Notably, although users had access to both the old OPAC and the new Aquabrowser, 2 months after launch 2/3 of queries were entered through Aquabrowser. The story is a bit more complex but that's certainly something to think about.

I haven't found anything tangible from NCSU (haven't looked in over a year). IMHO they performed a weak usability study showing positive results but I haven't found any usage stats. Anyone else have any stats from them?

The folks from Georgia Public with Evergreen state massive increase in ILL loans (I'd have to hunt down the citation for that, sorry) but from what I understood it was difficult to compare current stats with the prior situation since users simply could not search catalogues from other libraries prior to Evergreen.

These were the titbits from a french article published in Documentation & Bibliothèque (Julien 2008). I was planning to translate and submit to Library Journal (or some other venue) but I wasn't sure there was interest anymore.

I seem to remember that some libraries using worldcat local reported an
increase in interlibrary loan activity. There may an argument here that
if there were a more transparent way across all libraries to see
holdings easily/centrally from within the catalog that circulation would
increase, a rising tide lifting all boats, or at least the bigger boats
with more holdings.
