I totally do not buy that all "bibliographic datasets" are pretty much 
the same regardless of schema, format, or rules they are produced in.

I asked, because if your data HAD been AACR2-MARC, I think your chances 
of creating something as useful as you had would have been lower. I am 
not surprised to find out it is not.
