Yes. Inspiration (or intuition) without knowledge runs into error as
surely as a belief without skepticism ends up in superstition.

But maybe the "inspired" in the above quote is just a mistaken choice
of term and the intention was something like "guided" or "shown" or at
least wouldn't exclude that.
