Hello Amira,

The TRLN libraries license Syndetics content for use with our Endeca
systems. And you are right that historically the demand on the
Syndetics servers has been so high as to cause exceptional latency,
especially for cover images. In March of this year Syndetics began
using a content delivery network to cache cover images. This places the
images "closer to our servers" and decreases the number of requests that
the Syndetics servers actually have to serve. We've seen significant
improvements in response time for all Syndetics requests, including
cover images, since they implemented the CDN.

    Hope this helps,

    Derek
