Libraries in google results

But seriously, how many III libraries out there have set their
robots.txt to allow search engines to spider their results?  I recently
figured out that by default, our III system doesn't allow search engines
to crawl through the catalog (or spider it? What's the verb I want?).
Also, I can't edit the file directly - instead I have to ask III to fix
it for me.  

Just curious, can I get a show of hands:

Have you set your III system to allow spiders?
Have you (thereafter) seen your catalog records in google searches? In
other search engines?
Have you noticed any performance issues with your III server?

Thanks.  Sorry to be focusing on my catalog from "this generation"--I'm
trying to get there, step by step.
