I'm forwarding this information on behalf of my colleague Matt Goldner
(not a subscriber to NGC4LIB):
Just want to be sure that people understand that OCLC has had a program
in place for over a year to work with vendors who create MARC records to
obtain permission to load them into WorldCat. The following link will
take you to an extensive list of all the vendors, and their record sets,
who have either given us permission or are currently in negotiations to
do so: http://www.oclc.org/us/en/worldcatlocal/support/vendor.htm
You may note that there is a link at the bottom of the list that allows
a library to request additional record sets be considered for loading
into WorldCat.
