Hear, hear. One of the important reasons why the web ecosystem has worked so
far is because it is self-describing [1]. A web crawler (google, excite,
yahoo, etc) can automatically explore and process the contents of the web.
What if we could access library bibliographic and authority data in the same
way? :-)
