Library books lack actual covers? Really?
I guess Mountain View Public Library must be an exception. Along with
Redwood City Public Library, Palo Alto, and--let's see--every other public
library I've ever used or visited. All of which have the actual covers (in
protective jackets) wrapped around the actual books, at least for
circulating items.
Academic libraries are, of course, different--but then, I don't even agree
that "Libraries differ only in the margins."
