Elizabeth,

The Robertson Library at the University of Prince Edward Island went
live on Evergreen a week ago. They are the first academic library to go
into production with Evergreen. I think that their experience of what
they have done to work around the lack of serials and acquisition
modules.

Maybe they will chime in on the list.

Subject: [NGC4LIB] Open Source ILS and Acquisitions & Serials Modules

Our medical library is seriously considering a migration to the
Evergreen open-source Integrated Library System. The acquisitions and
serials modules for Evergreen are currently in development. I am
curious to learn if anyone is operating an open-source ILS without
these two modules. What software or applications is your library
using for acquisitions and serials control? Are you managing
electronic serials through a third party ERMS? Any advice?

Thank you for your response.
