Tim, I'm pretty sure we have the ability to figure out how to wrap
services (like resizing) around cover images.
When you spoke at the Digital Odyssey in Toronto last spring, I asked
you whether the cover service that you were planning to make a big
announcement on would have images that would be freely redistributable
as a big tarball that could be bittorrented around - and you said
"Yes."
Has the answer really changed? That would be very disappointing, as it
would mean that the library community had wasted a year with its hopes
pinned on vapour.
