P.S. And once you have downloaded the metadata you can do any number
of things such as:

   * loop through the records looking for things
     like OCLC numbers that are also in your
     catalog and then updating your catalog
     records with the URLs of MBook files, or

   * feed the entire downloaded metadata to
     your local indexer -- "'next generation'
     library catalog"

The same process can be applied to just about any OAI-accessible
content.
