Hello Hilary,
At Boston College, we have implemented a link to Google book information from the full bib record view. Our catalog is at http://www.bc.edu/quest. We also use Syndetics, so we do not display the cover image from Google.
We recently added the link and we need to tweak the display, but it's at the bottom of the bib information for the moment.
