I, too, think this is worthwhile to investigate. Previous discussions mentioned how it was distracting and "interventionist", much like the "previews" services (mouse-over a link and a thumbnail of the site appears), but I disagree because it requires double-clicking for activation. It could be helpful for those just starting out in a research who are unfamiliar with the major issues and players of their topic.
I also am impressed with AUR Library in how they have extended their OPAC using other 3rd party tools, including linking to WorldCat to "Get a Citation". This could be useful to determine the utility of such a feature before paying $$$ to replace the OPAC/ILS.

I like it. While it is not perfect, I think it (AnswerTips) is a step
in the right direction.
