The Boulder Public Library (BPL), Boulder, Colorado is looking for
someone to become our new Systems Librarian.
BPL is a member of the Flatirons Library Consortium with Louisville
(Colorado) Public Library and Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library
(Broomfield, Colorado). As a member of the BPL staff, our Systems
Librarian is responsible for administering an Innovative Interfaces,
Inc. (III) integrated library system (ILS) for the Flatirons Library
Consortium.
Our ideal candidate is…
● Experienced with managing and supporting an ILS (experience with
III is preferred).
● Committed to making the most of the capabilities of an ILS in a
consortium environment.
● Innovative; keeps up with current trends in library technology
and thrives on challenges and problem solving.
● Someone who enjoys working as part of a diverse information
services team and has a demonstrated record of delivering excellent
customer service.
● Comfortable working with and training library staff with varying
levels of technological expertise.
