Doesn't Sirsi/Dynix (or III or ExLibris or Geac or Polaris) already have
this ability? They certainly have the ability to dial into your system
with sys admin privileges for troubleshooting purposes, and one presumes
they can see anything resident in there. How else could they untangle
data corruption and other insidious issues?
