The deadline for early-bird rates to register for ER&L 2008 is just a
few days away on January 10, 2008.  The rates are:

      Professional: $215
      Student: $105
      Paraprofessional/Support Staff: $165

After January 10, 2008, the rates will be::

      Professional: $275
      Student: $135
      Paraprofessional/Support Staff: $195

New this year are four half-day pre-conferences on March 18. They are:

Morning Sessions:

- Mars and Venus for Information Professionals: Are your stakeholders
hearing the message you intended to send? -  Conducted by Barbie Elene
Keiser, Ulla de Stricker.

- LibX: Creating a New Search Tool for Your Library - Conducted by
Annette Bailey, Kyrille Goldbeck.

Afternoon Sessions:

- Metadata Quality Control for Resource Discovery and Sharing -
Conducted by Jung-ran Park.

- Project Management: Basic Skills and Techniques - Conducted by
Virginia Cairns.
