Well, my search found hit #24 to be a myspace page for some punk rock
band apparently named DOGS (there are other hits related to this
too). Other Google hits include "Database Of Genome Sizes" and
information on the films "Reservoir Dogs" and "Straw Dogs". Also
"Dogs of the Dow" talking about stocks.
A Google search for "cat" finds Caterpiller Inc., the UNIX cat
command, the CAT fast ferry service, a character animation plug-in,
the .cat (for Catalonia) Internet domain, the Citizens Area Transit
bus system, the Central Arkansas Transit Authority, Cat Lift Trucks,
the Centre for Alternative Technology, Black Cat - a Washington, DC
nightclub, Classic Cat - the free classical music directory, someone
named Cat Connor, the city of Raleigh's transportation system, Arctic
Cat snowmobiles, Computed Axial Tomography, Capital Area Transit -
and that's just in the first 50 hits (my first page setting). Yes,
there were things that did seem to be feline-related too.
The "Searches related to cat" includes "cat's cradle, cat iim, common
admission test, California achievment test" as well as things having
to do with felines.
It would seem that Jim's point is quite on-target.
