The scene: a dorm room at Stanford. The year, 1996.
Larry: I've got some great ideas for information retrieval. It'll
revolutionize the world by helping people find what they need.
Sergei: That's great. So, shall we get hired on by a library, or should
we just head over to Sand Hill Road and pick up a couple of million
bucks of VC money?
Larry: Oh, I wouldn't want to become rich, that would be evil. Let's get
hired on by the library. Between the two of us, we might be able to rent
a garage to live in.
