I just want to share with the group a new publication from ALA
Techsource by Marshall Breeding entitled Next-Generation Library
Catalogs:
http://tinyurl.com/35ekxk
http://techsource.ala.org/ltr/
This 44-page "book" consists of a number of essays. The first
accurately outlines the problems and issues we are discussing here on
the list. The balance sans one of the essays review many of the
commercial offerings currently available: AquaBrowser, Endeca,
Encore, Primo, WorldCat Local. The final essay briefly touches on a
couple of open source ILS solutions.
I thought you might like to know.
