I wasn't generalizing, I prefaced my remarks with 'from my point of
view...' Whenever we make any changes to our catalog/web presence we
make sure we have technical services represented. Yes, it does take
time to get some of them 'up to speed' on the functionality of the
technology, but we feel it is important that all staff, patrons, and
faculty are included in the decision-making process. My experience with
catalogers is as I stated earlier, and was not meant in *any way* as a
generalization. Please accept my apology if my comments came across as
anything else.
