Definitely. Amazon search-inside-the-book too. Plus OCA/Microsoft if
they have anything to provide, of course. (Is there an OCA or Microsoft
book text search live yet?)

I haven't been able to figure out how to do this though. Amazon does not
provide the info via their API, and doesn't even have any good way to
screen-scrape it.

Google Books does not provide an API, and if you screen-scrape it
yourself, your software is going to have access denied by Google via
volume controls.

I guess you could do it all in javascript on the client side, is that
what you're thinking?

But personally, I don't see any reason to object to it. Even if you have
the print book in front of you, you can't keyword search a print book,
these book text search services are very useful.
