I was wondering if anyone had done the above? Surely someone who was
seeking a new library system would compare features of the opacs of
vendors they were looking at in a way that could be easy to see. If
anyone has done this kind of research, I would be very interested in
seeing it. I wonder if maybe vendor x has developed their opac in one
way whilst vendor y in another. If we could get together a list of
standard 'enhancements' that other ILS' are making (maybe in a chart)
then I'd have a case to go to my ILS and say 'this is what others are
doing, why aren't you?'
