Just to clarify, before I get another stoning; This wasn't about
librarians, but about search engines, or, really, about anything that
failes to evolve; It's a commentary on what happens when something
doesn't change to adopt, or when humanity decides that a certain
profession differ from its current path. Where is AltaVista now? Or
Netscape search? Or HotBot?

The very definition of what a search is has changed. This is why we're
"Googling" these days, and why many struggle with our OPAC's because
they expect us to at least be able to do what Google does. Fielded
search? What's that?

Kind regards,

Alex
