This is a huge misconception, a fallacy of people who don't know how
the technology works. XML can be whatever you like it to be - numbers,
Swahili, English, hieroglyphs - and is implementation agnostic. Some
people create poetry with a pen and paper, others write propaganda and
hate mail, some pack their fish in the paper, my kids stick the pen
through the paper and make a tent out of it ; tools have many uses,
but you cannot accuse the tools of the end product. Can we please stop
bashing stuff we don't understand?
