I no longer understand where you're going with this. Yes, of course
these changes need to happen in the real world; that's why we're
talking about it, and that's what this mailing-list is all about.

Talked about this for ages, suggested, hinted, showed and given up on
it. It's not going to happen, and we all know it. It's fun to talk
about alternatives, though, but after a while you get so depressed by
it because you ultimately know it's not going anywhere.

I think things presented here most of the time never gets heard properly.

No, that's rubbish, and just the fact that I have to somewhat defend
one of modern technologies biggest success stories from a bunch of
librarians is, at best, comical.
