Last week I was almost (but not quite) amused by the fact that Google
doesn't know the difference between a biography and a bibliography,
in several searches similar to:

dotson bibliography

but not all (I assume there is a threshold or something when it kicks
in). But really - that's silly. There's not even a "Did you mean?"
when it does this. I would much prefer a system that showed me what I
searched for, then if it must second-guess me, simply add the
information showing how many results I would get with its "corrected"
spelling. Forcing me to put *everything* in quotes just to avoid the
inept computer "intelligence" is a little frustrating. I wouldn't
mind "bibliographie" but come on.....
